Lita & Lilian Together Today!

SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Results For 5/27

Taped on Monday:

* They advertised Half Pint Brawlers coming to Spike on June 2nd. One of the stars, Puppet joins the commentary team.

* Announced as for Impact, for the TNA Knockouts Titles, Sarita and Taylor Wilde vs. The Beautiful People. Winner via a claw slam from Lacey onto Taylor, The Beautiful People. Puppet celebrates in the ring with them afterwards and smacks Velvet's butt so they beat Puppet up. Lacey feels bad about it and checks on Puppet. When she does he kisses her. She breaks free and goes in for more and makes out with him again.

* Kazarian vs. Jay Lethal. Flair comes out during the match and distracts Lethal allowing Kaz to take over. Winner after another Flair distraction, Kazarian via schoolboy. Flair attacks Lethal afterwards and beats on him for awhile until Lethal turns it around and takes over. He hits a back body drop and clotheslines Flair out of the ring. AJ Styles then runs out and attacks Lethal. Kaz stops him so he can do it instead but Lethal dropkicks both of them out.

Taped Tonight:

* Jeff Hardy is out. He's out for a simple reason, to find out what's up with Mr. A--hole himself, Mr. Anderson. Hardy says without further adieu, here he is. Anderson comes out and the crowd chants a--hole. He says maybe he does things like that to confuse you. Maybe to confuse different people. Maybe it's because he's an a--hole. Look at Hardy, he's got green hair, sweet tattoos, the whole thing and maybe he walks down the street and old people call him an a--hole. He tells Hardy to embrace his inner a--hole. He points to people in the crowd and says they're an a--hole, he's an a--hole, everyone should be an a--hole. AJ Styles, Ric Flair, Beer Money and Desmond Wolfe come out. AJ says he saw he has a match with him tonight and he doesn't belong in the same ring as him and that he asked for the match. Hardy says he doesn't ask for a match. AJ says he wasn't talking to him, he was talking to Anderson. AJ says do you know who I am? Anderson says he does know who AJ is but does he know who he is? He says let him introduce himself. The mic is lowered, he does the Mr. Anderson intro and his music hits. Anderson was cheered and acted like a total babyface.

* Ink Inc. vs. Team 3D vs. The Band of Hall, Nash & Eric Young, non title. Winner via Spear on Brother Ray from Jesse Neal, Ink Inc. The whole match Ray was being brutal to Neal while Devon tried to stop it. Afterwards Ray asks Devon if he's out of his mind. He then challenges Neal to a match at Slammiversary, teacher vs. the student. Devon gets in his face again and the segment ends.

* Jason Hervey is here sitting next to Dixie Carter.

* Orlando Jordan (wearing Abyss pasties) vs. Abyss. Chelsea is with Abyss but is obviously unhappy and troubled. Winner via DQ, Abyss. During the match Abyss got pushed into Chelsea. As Abyss was checking on her, Desmond Wolfe came out and attacked Abyss with a pipe. Jordan and Wolfe beat down Abyss until Rob Terry came in for the save. Abyss carried Chelsea to the back.

* RVD is out. He's out to talk to Sting and he knows he's here. So he has a shot at the TNA Championship. You can watch some amazing matches of RVD to get ready. You can train real hard. But that's not you Sting. You want to hide in the shadows and ambush me. He gets it. He wants RVD to know he's a force to reckon with. Maybe he has it out for him since he beat Sting in 5 seconds in his debut. He knows Sting's accomplishments. He's had some of his own. It's weird their paths never crossed but they have now. If he wants to come out now he can show him what he's got coming. Sting's music hits but he doesn't come out. Instead, footage of Sting beating RVD with the bat is shown. Sting is actually in the rafters and says he's going to take the title from him. The footage is only a small taste of what he's going to do to him at Slammiversary. Sting's music hits and he leaves.

* Kurt Angle is out and joins commentary. Desmond Wolfe vs. Jeff Hardy. Hardy hit a Twist of Fate but the referee had been knocked out from an errant Whisper in the Wind. Hardy went to check on the referee and Wolfe used a loaded sock. Winner via loaded sock, Desmond Wolfe.

* Matt Morgan is out. Two weeks ago we got jumped from the back by that savage Samoa Joe. Next we get robbed of the tag titles by Hall and Nash. Now he's told we need to find a new partner to get back the titles we never lost. We believe in helping elevate others though and can turn this negative into a positive. He puts out an open invite to anybody come out and tryout for greatness. No one comes out but Morgan sees Angle at commentary and asks if he wants the shot. Angle finally goes to the ring. Morgan asks him if he wants to become a star. Angle says didn't he pin Morgan the last time they were in the ring? Morgan says he'll slow it down and ask again. Does he want to be his partner or not? He then takes a cheap shot at Angle and says "not". Security holds Angle back. Angle tries to get at Morgan as Morgan laughs, then Samoa Joe's music hits and he comes out. Morgan takes off and Joe and Angle have a staredown. Both leave without anymore violence.

* AJ Styles vs. Mr Anderson. Winner via crossbody block reversal, AJ Styles. After the match, Anderson admits AJ got him, got him at his own freaking game. He thinks AJ pulled his tights. He asks the a--holes if AJ did. They chant that he did so Anderson attacks AJ. Beer Money runs out and helps AJ beat Anderson down. Hardy eventually runs out to make the save. Hardy and Anderson square off. Hardy puts his hand out to shake and Anderson accepts and shakes Hardy's hand.

* Xplosion match, Jeremy Buck vs. Amazing Red vs. Alex Shelley. Winner via Kryptonite Krunch/Celtic Cross on Jeremy Buck, Alex Shelley.

Scott Steiner crowned WWC Universal Champion‏

Whatever Happened To Snitsky?, Carlito's Return, Trish Stratus

World Wrestling Council announced on Saturday that recently released WWE star Carlito would be taking part in its annual WWC Aniversario 2010 show this July. Other wrestlers scheduled to appear include WWC Universal champion Scott Steiner, Primo Colón, Orlando Colón (currently known as Tito Colón in WWE developmental), Shelton Benjamin, Tommy Dreamer, El Mesias (a/k/a Judas Mesias), Tony Atlas, Hugo Savinovich and all of the WWC Superstars.

-- CTV in Canada aired back-to-back episodes of Stratusphere, starring Trish Stratus, this morning at 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. We meant to get this up earlier for you so you could view the shows. Our apologies for that. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)

-- As noted earlier here on the website, yesterday marked the 11th anniversary of Owen Hart's death at the Over the Edge pay per view. Of course, the Over the Limit PPV was last night. That was eerily similar. Reports say that many in the company were unaware of the coincidence backstage at Over the Limit last night, as there aren't many left in the company from that time period.

-- An interview with The Rock is available at http://www.contactmusic.com/ He talks about being teased for his role in The Tooth Fairy.

-- Since his 2008 departure from World Wrestling Entertainment, Gene Snisky (a/k/a Snitsky) has crossed over to the acting world. He recently shot the role of "Satan" in the independent film Morning Star. He is also seeking voiceover work.

Bret Hart Wins U.S. Title, Virgil Returns To WWE

Virgil made his return to WWE on this week's RAW, accompanying Ted DiBiase to the ring. Virgil will be at Over the Limit this Sunday in DiBiase's corner in the match against R-Truth.

-- Bret Hart is the new WWE United States Champion after defeating The Miz on this week's RAW in a no DQ, no count out match. While Bret obviously won't be an active champion, it remains to be seen what happens to the title now. I warned you guys last week that it wouldn't shock me to see him capture the title. It seemed pretty obvious that he was winning.

Tons Of News: Danielson

WWE.com has an article up talking to and about the eliminated NXT rookies. Most of the story focuses on Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson, including this statement: "But Bryan Danielson is a former world Champion. Bryan Danielson is champion wherever he's ever been. Bryan Danielson is one of the best wrestlers in the world. And he doesn't just say that himself, people say that about him. The real me is Bryan Danielson. I was trying to fit into what they want me to be but that's not me. Bryan Danielson is the real me."

Lashley was kept off two recent Strikeforce cards due to scheduling issues, and said recently that he'd fight every month if he could. "I'm playing the catch-up game," he said. "Some of these guys have 10, 20, 30 fights under their belts. I have a mere five fights. So, of course, any opportunity I have to take a fight, I want to jump on it."

Kurt Angle's TNA Return?, New TNA Tag-Team Champions, More

As always, have a great weekend! We've got big boxing and Strikerforce events on Saturday and then the TNA Sacrifice PPV on Sunday night. We'll be busy this weekend and we hope you check back in often. Thanks for your continued support of the website as always :)!! Be good.

-- There is zero interest right now from within TNA regarding Shelly Martinez coming back. As noted earlier here on the website, a fan campaign was recently started online that Shelly supported trying to get her back with the company. After not hearing back from Terry Taylor, TNA's Director of Talent Relations, she noted Tuesday on her Twitter account that she wrote to him to ask him about her status. She received her answer, writing the following: "So Terry Taylor said there is no opportunity at TNA for me :("

-- As of last word, Kurt Angle was scheduled to return to action at next week's TNA iMPACT tapings that will air on May 20th. As always, things can change.

-- Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are your new TNA Tag Team Champions after Nash cashed in his Feast or Fired briefcase on this week's TNA iMPACT. Nash came out and pinned a downed Matt Morgan after Samoa Joe came out and beat Morgan up in an un-related attack.

-- WWE needs another strong heel on the SmackDown! brand and two names that have been discussed for the spot are Kofi Kingston and MVP.

Shannon Moore Injured On iMPACT!

On Thursday night's iMPACT!, Shannon Moore had an earring ripped out during his match.

A Major SD! Error & Storyline **SPOILER**, Vader Update, Y2J

As noted earlier, WWE's production crew made a big technical error before the SmackDown! tapings this past Tuesday night in Buffalo at the HSBC Arena. While fans were waiting to get in the arena, a TV with no audio in the front lobby was on and it was showing the WWE crew rehearsing for the show. Fans saw Teddy Long & Kofi Kingston rehearsing their segment, the Divas rehearsing their match and Jack Swagger practicing for his segment. The WWE stars prepared for the show until the doors opened for fans to come into the arena.

-- As far as her Women's Title is concerned, an angle will occur on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown! involving the belt. In light of the injury, there is talk of splitting up Laycool — Michelle McCool and Layla — and having them feud with each other. It's also been said that Melina may return to SmackDown! once she's cleared to wrestle, which is expected to take place in June.

-- The Oklahoma Daily ran an article this week on the son of former World Champion Vader, Jesse White, who also played football at the University of Oklahoma. The article talked about how Jesse is training for a career in pro wrestling and included comments from Vader and Jim Ross. Jesse is training for wrestling two days a week now and is working for Midsouth Pro Wrestling in Oklahoma. It was noted that Vader is still planning shows in Japan and North America through his company, Vader Time Promotions and will be holding a week-long wrestling camp later this year at the Paradise City Night Club in Oklahoma City. Vader says he will be trying to help Jesse live his dream and get a contract with WWE. Vader said: “The main thing to me is he approaches the opportunities correctly. He has to leave the arrogance behind. You have to stay humble, and bring God with you on the road. That’s something I didn’t do for a long time.”

Adult Arrested for powerbombing a 4-year-old

Oklahoman David Laird, 28, has been charged with felony child abuse for powerbombing the 4-year-old son of his girlfriend. According to a report on TulsaWorld.com, Laird "repeatedly slammed the child into a doorframe while baby-sitting him." The child was taken to hospital with skull and chest fractures, a large bruise on the back of his head and bruising of the shoulders, back, legs and genitalia. Laird originally claimed that the child was injured when he fell off a clothes dryer, but later admitted that he had picked the child up and thrown him into the doorframe several times. He is being held on $100,000 bail. The child is out of hospital but continues to have medical issues.

Where Are They Now? Wrestlers Who Fell From Grace

Aka: X-Pac, Syxx, 1-2-3 Kid

Professional Wrestling Career:

At the young age of 21, Sean Waltman joined the WWF, and was considered a "jobber," meaning he lost to popular opponents on a regular basis. His jobber status ended when he defeated Razor Ramon. After the victory, he rose up the ranks in the WWF, defeating more popular opponents, and winning the tag-team title. He even had a title shot in 1994 against Bret Hart, but lost.

Waltman joined WCW in 1996, and managed to become a member of nWo, as Syxx. He managed to win the cruiserweight title in 1997 but a neck injury forced him out of WCW that year.

He re-joined the WWF in 1998, this time as X-Pac, a name with many meanings. He was X-wolf-pack (an alliance in WCW), he enjoyed the rap music if Tupac Shakur, and would be joining Triple H's Degeneration X. After a few years with DX, X-Pac experienced a pretty bad neck injury. He would not return for a few years, at which point, he had no wrestling angle from which to promote himself. After being arrogant about losing matches and a bizarre incident in which he collapsed at the airport, he was released by the WWE, joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and X Wrestling.

Where Is He Now?

As we mentioned before, Waltman made a horrifying sex tape with Chyna.

In early 2008, Waltman attempted suicide. After taking a combination of prescription drugs and alcohol, he was found hanging by the neck in his home in Mexico City. He survived the incident, and has been taking steps to combat depression and drug addiction.

Backstage Heat Among WWE's Announcers

there is indeed heat between Matt Striker and Jerry Lawler. Michael Cole is also not a fan of Striker.

The former teacher reportedly has a reputation for coming off as an elitist, which rubs a number of his peers the wrong way. "He has a long way to come off as good as he thinks he is," said one company source regarding Striker. There have been times where Striker wanted to prepare for broadcasts with Cole and Lawler, but he irritates them so much they go out of their way to avoid him until show time.

Though many of his co-workers feel he comes off as an annoyance, there have been several accounts of Striker going out his way to please fans after shows. Vince McMahon is also a fan of Striker's SmackDown! color commentary.

Gregory Helms Headed To TNA Wrestling

Gregory Helms will be joining TNA Wrestling once his ninety no-compete clause with World Wrestling Entertainment expires in late May. He has already made verbal deal with the organization through Jeff Hardy. He will most likely be performing under his WCW ring name, Shane Helms.

On another note, there is talk of starting a faction with Hardy, Helms, Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal.

Trish Stratus Has A New Look Again

Trish Stratus took part in McHappy Day yesterday in Toronto to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House. She is also back to being a brunette again.

WWE RAW Results (5/10) - New General Manager... Quits!

Randy Orton's music hits, and here comes The Viper. Orton asks Edge if he'd like to know why he didn't accept his offer. It's because he knows him. Edge sees him as a threat, and he should. Orton gets interrupted with some crappy entrance music, and here comes Meat Loaf!

He says Orton is the man. He's going crazy. He says he had to get out there and see Orton. He's got a new album coming out, and on this album, he's got a song that needs to be Orton's theme song. It's written by Bon Jovi. He asks Orton if he wants to hear the song. Orton says why not. Meat Loaf says he's gonna sing the whole song, just for Orton. The crappy music hits, and he starts to sing. This is random at its finest. Orton starts to walk away, and Meat Loaf tells him to hold on. He says it picks up, and starts to sing another song. He says it's for Orton and that the album rocks. God, just RKO this guy. He starts singing again. Finally Orton RKO's the guy. YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME!

Here comes Edge, and he's got a mic. Edge says Randy doesn't like celebrities. Edge says he doesn't like them either, how they think they run things. So he called WWE Global Headquarters, and he complained. They tweeted Edge back saying that they agreed with him. So for here on out, Guest Celebrity Hosts will have no authority on Raw. Let's see how long that lasts. Edge says that's not all. He says it needs a permanent GM. Someone with experience, authority, the moxy to pull this job off. And they agreed with him again. You'll never guess who they picked to be the new GM. It's Vickie Guerrero. EXCUSE ME! And here she comes.

She would like to say for the record that despite her personal relationship with Edge in the past, she is here tonight to be a true professional. The crowd will not stop booing. Hilarious. She says Randy attacking celebrities is something that the WWE will not condone. Orton will be reprimanded. Orton tells Vickie to come down to the ring and reprimand him to his face. Edge says that's exactly what Vickie's talking about, that he's a bully. But tonight, Orton's going to find out what it's liked to be bullied. Vickie says that due to his behavior issues, tonight Orton will take on Edge and a partner of his choice in a handicapped match. Edge says Orton will see how he deals with threats, and that's a promise.

-We cut to the back and we see Jericho and Miz talking to each other. Jericho has a match up next with tag team title ramifications.

-We get highlights from the opening segment.

Match 1 : Chris Jericho vs Unified Tag Team Champion David Hart Smith (w/ Natalya)
If Chris Jericho is victorious in this match, he and Miz will earn a Unified Tag Team Championship bout at Over the Limit. Out of all of the Jericho/Big Show/Miz combination's, Jericho and Miz definitely seems like the best, at least on paper. Tyson and Miz both have a match later on. If Miz loses tonight, he'll have to defend his title against a Hart family member next week in Toronto.

Jericho slaps Miz, and David starts throwing the rights. Big boot followed with a delayed vertical suplex by Smith. Leg drop misses and Jericho hits a running kick to the head. Jericho follows up with some forearms to the back of the head. Jericho now just stomping Smith, not allowing him to get back up. He locks in a sleeper hold. Smith with a boot to Jericho in the corner, and follows up with a clothesline. Belly to belly overhead throw by Smith. Jericho with an elbow but runs into a powerslam. Pin but only two. Smith charges Jericho but Jericho hits him with a back elbow. Lionsault misses, and Smith looks for the Sharpshooter. He's got it locked in, but Jericho finds his way to the ropes. Jericho pokes Smith in the eyes and hits a Codebreaker for the win.

Winner : Chris Jericho (*1/2 - Way too short to be anything good, but it was fine for what it was)

-Jericho and Miz will face The Hart Dynasty at Over the Limit for the Unified Tag Team Championships.

-We're in the back now and Edge is talking to Batista.

-Tonight, Cena will reveal the stipulation for his match against Batista at Over the Limit.

-Up next, Flava Flav. Yay.

-This week on Smackdown, Punk and Mysterio will face off one on one.

-And here comes R-Truth. Ya'll know what time it is. And he's here with Flava Flav. Truth and Flav do the entrance song together. YEA BOY. Truth gives Flav an introduction. Flav tells everyone to scream at the top of their lungs "FLAVA FLAV". He pimps his new show, and I can't understand what he's saying now. Flav tells them to make some noise for Truth, and asks the crowd if they're ready to get the show rockin'.

Match 2 : R-Truth vs William Regal
Regal doesn't even get an entrance, so you already know who's winning.

Regal starts things out with some forearms in the corner. Truth floats over Regal in the corner, splits and then hits the spin kick. And here come the Colon's, and they're taking out Truth.

Winner : R-Truth via disqualification (DUD - More of an angle than a match, putting over Dibiase's gimmick while cementing the Colon's as a unit)

Backstabber to Truth by Carlito. Flav is on commentary, and he says they just killed Truth. The Colon's walk back up the ramp and there's Ted Dibiase. Dibiase hands them an envelope (presumably filled with money) as the Colon's walk away.

-Cole and Lawler hype the handicapped match for later tonight.

-Back from commercial and we get a video package highlighting Eve. We then get highlights of earlier tonight where Maryse was getting her own training in jui-jitsu. The trainer says she isn't trying hard enough. Maryse slaps him in the face and then kicks him in the leg.

-We're in the back with Orton. Josh Matthews asks him if he's concerned about the match later tonight. Orton says there's not much he can do about it, so no. He says he'd like Vickie to come down to ringside during his match so he can make sure tonight is a night that she will never forget.

-Tomorrow on NXT someone will be eliminated.

-Buzz Aldrin says he's taking Raw to the moon next week. Mark Henry hits him in the back with a chair. One small step for Raw, and one giant leap for the WWE Universe. Next week Aldrin is the guest host.

-Gail Kim and Alicia Fox are at ringside. Zack Ryder thanks them for being out there tonight. He says Alicia looks especially beautiful tonight. He says the last great moment this arena will hold is Zack Ryder's first win on Raw.

Match 3 : Zack Ryder vs Evan Bourne
Ryder with a knee to Bourne and starts hitting him with clubbing blows to the back of the neck. Running hurricanran by Bourne, and he hits him with a back elbow, enzuigiri combination in the corner. Bourne flips into the ring over Ryder but gets caught with the Rough Rider. Cover but only two. Neckbreaker by Ryder, but again Bourne kicks out of the pin. Bourne hits Ryder with a kick. He avoids Ryder in the corner and hits a Bronco Buster type of move in the corner. Bourne goes to the top. Alicia tries to cut him off but Kim takes her off. AIR BOURNE!!! Woo Woo Woo. It's over.

Winner : Evan Bourne (*1/2 - Again, too short to be anything good. Still, a Bourne win is better than nothing)

Bourne and Kim walk off together.

-We get highlights of Cena beating Barrett last week, followed by the post match attack by Sheamus. When we come back, Cena will reveal the stipulation. If it's an Ironman match I'll be pissed.

-Did You Know WWE has been making wishes come true for kids for over 25 years. Probably not

-The Champ is Hurr!!! Here comes Cena. Cena says that it's truly a very special occasion. He wants to take this moment to thank Sheamus. Because of his outburst, he gave Cena a week to think about the stipulation. He thought maybe Batista was right. He did defeat Batista but the win was controversial. He thought the victory was creative, but Batista and some critics thought it was a way for Cena to take the easy way out. He's been called many things in his life, but he's not a coward. Tonight, he'll prove it. He can choose any match he wants with Batista. He can force him to wear a blindfold, be handcuffed, or hop on one leg. But this match, there will be no easy way out. I smell I Quit. He says the match will be brutal. It will be the last time Cena faces Batista for the title. If Batista wins, he's officially going on record saying he forfeits his rematch clause. There's only one match the two of them can have. He will face Dave Batista in an I Quit match. If Batista wants to see him go, all he has to do is make him say two words. He owes all of this to Sheamus. He would've rushed his decision. He thanks Sheamus, and tells the human jar of mayonnaise to come out so he can thank him in person. Cena gets ready to go to the back, but here comes Sheamus.

Sheamus says Cena didn't think it through. If he goes to the ring, he'll leave Cena in no condition to defeat Batista. Everyone knows it, including Cena. He asks him if he really wants him to come down there. Cena takes off his shirt and says he'll take his chances. Sheamus says he's a foolish man, because that decision cost him the WWE Title. And Sheamus starts to walk down to the ring.

Batista comes at Cena from behind. Cena takes him out, then Sheamus, but turns into a spear from The Animal. Sheamus hits him with the backbreaker. Batista takes him to the outside and rams him spine first into the ringpost. Batista throws Cena back into the ring, allowing Sheamus to hit the boot.

Batista goes for the Batista Bomb, but here's Mark Henry. He takes Batista and Sheamus out. Splash in the corner to Batista, and he boots him out of the ring. Henry then goes to check up on Cena as Batista walks away.

-We're in the back with Vickie and Edge. Edge says he found a partner. He wants to make sure they're perfectly clear as the last time they were on Raw, Edge said some awful things toward her. He wanted the people to feel sympathetic for her, but it didn't work. Vickie says they can still be friends. Edge says he wants Vickie to be at ringside tonight. Vickie says no way and that Randy creeps her out. Vickie tells him to guarantee her that nothing will happen. Edge says if Orton raises a finger towards her, she can fire her. She needs to be at ringside so that she will show that she won't be intimidated and so that she can see the look on his face after he beats him. Vickie says she'll be there.

-And we're back, and Tyson Kidd is in the ring.

Match 4 : Unified Tag Team Champion Tyson Kidd (w/ Natalya) vs United States Champion The Miz
If Kidd wins, Miz will have to defend his title next week against a member of The Hart Dynasty.

Miz ducks behind Kidd and slams him to the mat. Big kick to the gut follows. He then boots Kidd out of the ring. Kidd shoulder blocks Miz and flies into the ring with a roll up for the win?

Winner : Tyson Kidd (1/2* - Way too short and did nothing for Miz)

Miz asks Kid if he thinks he actually won something. He reminds Kidd that the stipulation is that he decides who he faces next week. He's not going to face Tyson nor David. As much as Natalya wants to get in the ring with Miz and wrestle around, keep dreaming. Next week, live on Raw, commercial free, Miz will defend his title against... Bret "The Hitman" Hart!

-Josh says that later tonight, Batista will face Mark Henry. Batista asks him if he heard about the I Quit match. Batista said he's not going to make Cena say I Quit, he's going to make him scream it. If you don't believe him, watch what he does to Mark Henry.

-All of the NXT rookies are in the ring, and following is an 8 on 4 match.

Match 5 : The NXT Rookies vs John Morrison, Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust and Santino Marella
My god, is this what Morrison's been subjected to. No offense to any of those guys, but I thought Morrison was being slated as a future main event player. Apparently that'll be happening later rather than sooner. I hope not though.

Barrett and Goldust start off. Barrett hits him with some rights in the corner. Goldust with an uppercut and a reverse atomic drop. Short arm clothesline and here comes Tatsu. Tatus dives off the middle rope, axe handling the arm. Gabriel getst the tag but runs into an arm drag. He flips over a hip toss. Tatsu jumps over a kick. Gabriel flips over a back drop attempt and hits a spin kick. Here comes Otunga and he hits Tatsu with some clubbing blows. Tatsu flips out of a back suplex, but gets killed with a shoulder block. Pin but only two. Clothesline but again only two on the pin. He now locks in a sleeper. Tatsu fights out and hits a discuss elbow. Slater and Morrison get the tags. Dropsault and a clothesline follows. Flying leg kick by Morrison. Tarver comes in but gets chucked out. Slater with a slingshot sunset flip, but Morrison hits the knee. Starship Pain coming up but Slater gets the knees up. Here comes Bryan but he gets backdropped. Here comes Santino but he gets rolled up and BRYAN WINS!!!!

Winners : The NXT Rookies (*3/4 - Longest match of the night, and it wasn't that bad. And Bryan finally wins won, so it wasn't that bad)

-Lawler hypes up the handicapped match later tonight as we go to commercial.

-Smackdown rebound brings us back from commercial, highlighting the Drew McIntyre firing.

-Backstage see the Bella's with Flava Flav. He pimps his show, saying it's an updated version of the Twilight Zone. Marella and Kozlov are seen arguing. Flav tells them to speak English and asks them what's going on with them. Marella says he just wants to be a tag team. Kozlov says he always loses. Flav tells them they can work it out, and here's Regal. Regal tells him not to pay attention to him. Regal calls him ridiclous and says he has no talent. Kozlov tells Regal to bust a move. Regal starts to rap, and this is surprisingly kind of funny. Flav laughs and says that's the most ridiculous thing he's heard in his life. YEA BOIII!!!

-Cole lets out a vintage before they hype the Over the Limit card.
Edge vs Randy Orton
Jack Swagger(C) vs Big Show - World Heavyweight Championship
The Hart Dynasty(C) vs Chris Jericho and United States Champion The Miz - Unified Tag Team Championship
CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio - If Punk wins, Mysterio joins the SES. If Mysterio wins, Punk shaves his head.
John Cena(C) vs Batista - I Quit match - WWE Championship

Batista gets in the ring and sits down on a chair as we got to commercial.

Match 6 : Batista vs Mark Henry

And here comes Henry and Batista has yet to get up out of the chair. Vickie Guerrero has banned Cena and Sheamus from ringside. Henry is a little confused as to why Batista's still sitting down.

Batista springs up and attacks Henry as he gets into the ring. He grabs the chair and hits him in the back with it before the match even starts. He hits him with repeated shots to the shoulder. He then puts Henry in some submission (kind of like the Motor City Stretch) and starts yelling at Henry. Batista refuses to let it go and the refs can't make him stop. Batista finally lets go. Batista stands over Henry for a while before leaving the ring. He tells the medic that Henry will be fine.

-Lawler and Cole remind us that that would be legal during an I Quit match. Batista is receiving a lot of heat from that segment. Cole and Lawler plug Meat Loaf's new album "Like a Rose". We then get a recap of Randy RKO'ing Meat Loaf.

-And here comes Orton as we get ready for the main event.

Randy Orton vs. Edge and Ted DiBiase

Ted hits a right hand and tags in Edge for some double teaming. Edge tries to suplex Orton but Orton stops it. Edge hits a boot on Orton for a 2 count. Edge tags back in DiBiase now. Orton fights back on Ted with uppercuts. Ted responds with a big clothesline and a 2 count. Ted with a chinlock now on Orton. Orton fights out of it and clotheslines Ted twice. Orton counters it for a backbreaker. Orton hits the mat and starts stalking Ted. Ted counters the RKO but Orton dumps Ted over the ropes and to the floor. R-Truth comes down the ramp and Ted runs in the ring. Orton catches Ted with the RKO for the pinfall and the win.

Winner: Randy Orton

- After the match, R-Truth heads back up the ramp after assisting Orton with his win. Orton looks over at ringside where Vickie Guerrero is sitting. Vickie gets scared. Orton hits the mat and stares at Vickie through the ropes. Orton comes out to the floor, still staring. Vickie takes a mic and tells Orton not to do anything. She's screaming at Edge to get up now. Vickie warns Orton. She can't finish h er sentence and starts crying. Vickie yells that she resigns and runs away. Orton hits the RKO on Edge. RAW News: New GM Quits, Guest Host Concept, Attendance

As noted earlier, the dark match before Monday's WWE RAW saw Dos Caras defeat a local wrestler Matthew Justice. Caras cut a heel promo in Spanish before the match, saying he was here to conquer WWE and told the fans in English that if they wanted to know what he said, they needed to learn Spanish.

-- Vickie Guerrero was the new General Manager of the RAW brand before she resigned at the end of the night. She was announced by her storyline ex-husband Edge, who said the ruling came from WWE global headquarters. Of course, she took it all back by the end of the night.

--It was also announced that future celebrity guest hosts will no longer have authority over the wrestlers or the power to make matches.

-- There were 14,162 fans in attendance at the Mellon Arena Pittsburgh, PA. That was a complete sellout.

-- Did John Cena really call Sheamus a human bag of mayonnaise on RAW?!

Tara's TNA Exit, Hard Justice Update, Bischoff, Batista-WWE

Eric Bischoff confirmed on Facebook that this year's TNA Hard Justice pay-per-view will take place on August 8th.

A Title vs. Career match will take place at TNA's Sacrifice pay-per-view with Madison Rayne defending the TNA Knockouts Title against Tara with her career on the line. As noted before, Tara will be leaving TNA after her contract expires just days after Sacrifice.

The talk within WWE is that the stipulation for John Cena vs. Batista at Over the Limit may be Loser Leaves WWE, depending on if Batista is really about to leave WWE or not. Word is that WWE creative was told in the last few days about TNA doing a similar stipulation with Tara on their pay-per-view. When this was brought up to creative, there was talk of possibly changing the stipulation from Loser Leaves WWE.

Booker T Wins PWA Championship! 7 time!” Heavyweight Champion

7 time!” Heavyweight Champion

It was certainly something nobody saw coming.

But despite the referee being knocked unconscious, despite “T-Bone” Jack Sloan’s shenanigans, the 5 time WCW Champion emerged triumphant, snaring the PWA Championship. Added to his World Title reign in WWE, Booker T celebrated with the PWA faithful as he became, in his own words, the “7 time! 7 time! 7 time! 7 time! 7 time! 7 time! 7 time!” Heavyweight Champion.

Certainly, the title win puts the PWA into a state of flux. Lance Storm revealed on StormWrestling.com that in order for Booker to receive a title shot, he had to agree to return to defend the title if he won, but as of press time we at PWAwrestling.ca are unaware of any set title defenses. That being said, it looks unlikely that the PWA Heavyweight Championship will be contested for at Apocalypse this Saturday in Calgary, though rumours are abound that Booker will return at PWA’s biggest show of the year, Night of Champions.

With this exciting development, it leaves much in question. T-Bone Jack Sloan is a champion that, for the time being, is denied his opportunity to invoke his rematch clause. How 2009’s Breakout Star will react to such a reality is anybody’s guess, but knowing Sloan’s temperament, the results aren’t likely to be good for anybody else on the PWA roster.

WWE's Intercontinental Title declared vacant

WWE's Intercontinental Title was declared vacant on Friday night's SmackDown after Teddy Long "fired" the former Champion Drew McIntyre. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes vs. Christian took place Friday night in a one-night tournament with Kofi and Christian advancing. The two will face on next week's SmackDown! to crown a new Intercontinental Champion

Is Bret Hart Leaving WWE?, Backstage Fatal 4 Way Plans Revealed

Current plans for WWE's Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view have John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge and Sheamus in the WWE Title four-way and Jack Swagger, Big Show, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio or The Undertaker in the World Heavyweight Title four-way.

» While Bret Hart's final date is set to be the WWE RAW on May 17th in Toronto, Bret has said that he's open to working more dates for the company if they ask him. Hart told officials that he's going to be based out of Calgary for the next two years and if they want him, he's open. I'd expect WWE to keep him around for obvious reasons.

The Latest On Batista & WWE - Would He Jump Ship?

According to those close to Batista, it is not 100% certain that he will be leaving World Wrestling Entertainment, although it is believed that Over the Limit will be his final show. He was said to be furious that a film project initially based around him was taken from him, particularly since it was at the last minute.

Big Dave is listening to outside offers and it should be noted that there is interest on the part of TNA. However, the belief is that it is highly unlikely "The Animal" would jump ship to the competition since they would never be able to offer him anything close to what he's making in WWE, which is in the neighborhood of several million dollars per year. It should also be noted that Dave is a big spender and according to one source 'lives like a rock star' with a high quality house, several fancy cars, and more.

Maria To TNA Update

As noted earlier, former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis has had discussions with TNA regarding joining the organization, but money is said to be the main hold up as of this writing.

Another RAW Guest Host Revealed, Shad Gaspard's Son, Delaney

The guest host of the May 17th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW will be NASA Astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Aldrin's website had the announcement on the site, but removed it. They likely did this so that WWE could make the official announcement. That episode of RAW is scheduled for Toronto, Canada, and will be three hours long.

-- Former WWE superstar Colin Delaney competes in the International Wrestling Cartel's Super Indy IX tomorrow night in Elizabeth, PA. Tickets are available now on IWCwrestling.com

-- Shad Gaspard named his new born son Aryeh Estario Gaspard.

Kimbo Slice Likely To Be Fired By UFC

Dana White seems to be done with the Kimbo Slice experiment. "That's probably Kimbo's last fight in the UFC," White said last night after Slice lost to Matt Mitrione. However, the UFC president did admit that his first impression of Kimbo had been wrong.

"I didn't know Kimbo," White said. "I just knew what I saw. The first time I ever met him, I said, 'This is going to be an interesting meeting with all the [expletive] I've said about this guy over the past two years.' He came in, and he couldn't be a nicer guy. He took this serious, he trained, went after it."

Despite the likely release, White said the release will not be because of Kimbo the person. "I said that I have a lot of respect for Kimbo and how he's handled this whole thing – a lot of trash-talking for a couple of years, by me," White said. "He took me up on my challenge. He came in to 'The Ultimate Fighter,' and tonight he got beat by Matt Mitrione. Mitrione was 1-0, and he came in and took Kimbo out tonight. I've got nothing but respect for Kimbo. I like him as a person. He carried himself really well."
