Regarding Samoa Joe's suspension from TNA Wrestling, it hinged from his outburst during the July 13th television taping. As noted earlier, the former World Heavyweight Champion yelled at TNA production members following his match with Jeff Hardy because he felt the finish was telegraphed due to ring announcer Jeremy Borash counting down its conclusion. TNA brass instructed Borash to make the announcement, going against Joe's request. What triggered the suspension is that he entered the production truck while the broadcast was ongoing to complain, which is considered a breach of etiquette. He has been reportedly suspended for one month. He not at last week's iMPACT! television tapings in Orlando.
-- With TNA's HardCORE Justice pay-per-view just a few days away, sources in TNA say there's little to no buzz backstage about Paul Heyman appearing at the show. While Heyman has met with TNA management in recent months, things seem to have died down as of late.

Tommy Dreamer-TNA Update - Is He Signed To A Contract?
Tommy Dreamer is scheduled for both sets of TNA iMPACT! tapings this week. There is no official word on if he signed a deal or not, but it is believed that one is about to happen. Dixie Carter wanted Dreamer to join the company, and personally reached out to him. As of now, Dreamer is only scheduled to be an on air talent, but many hope that he can transition into a backstage role, similar to what he did with ECW and WWE.
As far as Dreamer's name goes, since Dreamer has been using the "Tommy Dreamer" gimmick since before ECW, WWE will not be able to lay intellectual claim on the name like they did with the Dudley Boyz several years ago.
While some people have been complaining about Dreamer being the big surprise, you have to remember that Dixie Carter stated that she had a "nice surprise" for the PPV, and that the "big game-changing deal for the company" wouldn't be something that was announced at the PPV or happened right away.

SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Results For 5/27
Taped on Monday:
* They advertised Half Pint Brawlers coming to Spike on June 2nd. One of the stars, Puppet joins the commentary team.
* Announced as for Impact, for the TNA Knockouts Titles, Sarita and Taylor Wilde vs. The Beautiful People. Winner via a claw slam from Lacey onto Taylor, The Beautiful People. Puppet celebrates in the ring with them afterwards and smacks Velvet's butt so they beat Puppet up. Lacey feels bad about it and checks on Puppet. When she does he kisses her. She breaks free and goes in for more and makes out with him again.
* Kazarian vs. Jay Lethal. Flair comes out during the match and distracts Lethal allowing Kaz to take over. Winner after another Flair distraction, Kazarian via schoolboy. Flair attacks Lethal afterwards and beats on him for awhile until Lethal turns it around and takes over. He hits a back body drop and clotheslines Flair out of the ring. AJ Styles then runs out and attacks Lethal. Kaz stops him so he can do it instead but Lethal dropkicks both of them out.
Taped Tonight:
* Jeff Hardy is out. He's out for a simple reason, to find out what's up with Mr. A--hole himself, Mr. Anderson. Hardy says without further adieu, here he is. Anderson comes out and the crowd chants a--hole. He says maybe he does things like that to confuse you. Maybe to confuse different people. Maybe it's because he's an a--hole. Look at Hardy, he's got green hair, sweet tattoos, the whole thing and maybe he walks down the street and old people call him an a--hole. He tells Hardy to embrace his inner a--hole. He points to people in the crowd and says they're an a--hole, he's an a--hole, everyone should be an a--hole. AJ Styles, Ric Flair, Beer Money and Desmond Wolfe come out. AJ says he saw he has a match with him tonight and he doesn't belong in the same ring as him and that he asked for the match. Hardy says he doesn't ask for a match. AJ says he wasn't talking to him, he was talking to Anderson. AJ says do you know who I am? Anderson says he does know who AJ is but does he know who he is? He says let him introduce himself. The mic is lowered, he does the Mr. Anderson intro and his music hits. Anderson was cheered and acted like a total babyface.
* Ink Inc. vs. Team 3D vs. The Band of Hall, Nash & Eric Young, non title. Winner via Spear on Brother Ray from Jesse Neal, Ink Inc. The whole match Ray was being brutal to Neal while Devon tried to stop it. Afterwards Ray asks Devon if he's out of his mind. He then challenges Neal to a match at Slammiversary, teacher vs. the student. Devon gets in his face again and the segment ends.
* Jason Hervey is here sitting next to Dixie Carter.
* Orlando Jordan (wearing Abyss pasties) vs. Abyss. Chelsea is with Abyss but is obviously unhappy and troubled. Winner via DQ, Abyss. During the match Abyss got pushed into Chelsea. As Abyss was checking on her, Desmond Wolfe came out and attacked Abyss with a pipe. Jordan and Wolfe beat down Abyss until Rob Terry came in for the save. Abyss carried Chelsea to the back.
* RVD is out. He's out to talk to Sting and he knows he's here. So he has a shot at the TNA Championship. You can watch some amazing matches of RVD to get ready. You can train real hard. But that's not you Sting. You want to hide in the shadows and ambush me. He gets it. He wants RVD to know he's a force to reckon with. Maybe he has it out for him since he beat Sting in 5 seconds in his debut. He knows Sting's accomplishments. He's had some of his own. It's weird their paths never crossed but they have now. If he wants to come out now he can show him what he's got coming. Sting's music hits but he doesn't come out. Instead, footage of Sting beating RVD with the bat is shown. Sting is actually in the rafters and says he's going to take the title from him. The footage is only a small taste of what he's going to do to him at Slammiversary. Sting's music hits and he leaves.
* Kurt Angle is out and joins commentary. Desmond Wolfe vs. Jeff Hardy. Hardy hit a Twist of Fate but the referee had been knocked out from an errant Whisper in the Wind. Hardy went to check on the referee and Wolfe used a loaded sock. Winner via loaded sock, Desmond Wolfe.
* Matt Morgan is out. Two weeks ago we got jumped from the back by that savage Samoa Joe. Next we get robbed of the tag titles by Hall and Nash. Now he's told we need to find a new partner to get back the titles we never lost. We believe in helping elevate others though and can turn this negative into a positive. He puts out an open invite to anybody come out and tryout for greatness. No one comes out but Morgan sees Angle at commentary and asks if he wants the shot. Angle finally goes to the ring. Morgan asks him if he wants to become a star. Angle says didn't he pin Morgan the last time they were in the ring? Morgan says he'll slow it down and ask again. Does he want to be his partner or not? He then takes a cheap shot at Angle and says "not". Security holds Angle back. Angle tries to get at Morgan as Morgan laughs, then Samoa Joe's music hits and he comes out. Morgan takes off and Joe and Angle have a staredown. Both leave without anymore violence.
* AJ Styles vs. Mr Anderson. Winner via crossbody block reversal, AJ Styles. After the match, Anderson admits AJ got him, got him at his own freaking game. He thinks AJ pulled his tights. He asks the a--holes if AJ did. They chant that he did so Anderson attacks AJ. Beer Money runs out and helps AJ beat Anderson down. Hardy eventually runs out to make the save. Hardy and Anderson square off. Hardy puts his hand out to shake and Anderson accepts and shakes Hardy's hand.
* Xplosion match, Jeremy Buck vs. Amazing Red vs. Alex Shelley. Winner via Kryptonite Krunch/Celtic Cross on Jeremy Buck, Alex Shelley.

Whatever Happened To Snitsky?, Carlito's Return, Trish Stratus
World Wrestling Council announced on Saturday that recently released WWE star Carlito would be taking part in its annual WWC Aniversario 2010 show this July. Other wrestlers scheduled to appear include WWC Universal champion Scott Steiner, Primo Colón, Orlando Colón (currently known as Tito Colón in WWE developmental), Shelton Benjamin, Tommy Dreamer, El Mesias (a/k/a Judas Mesias), Tony Atlas, Hugo Savinovich and all of the WWC Superstars.
-- CTV in Canada aired back-to-back episodes of Stratusphere, starring Trish Stratus, this morning at 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. We meant to get this up earlier for you so you could view the shows. Our apologies for that. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)
-- As noted earlier here on the website, yesterday marked the 11th anniversary of Owen Hart's death at the Over the Edge pay per view. Of course, the Over the Limit PPV was last night. That was eerily similar. Reports say that many in the company were unaware of the coincidence backstage at Over the Limit last night, as there aren't many left in the company from that time period.
-- An interview with The Rock is available at http://www.contactmusic.com/ He talks about being teased for his role in The Tooth Fairy.
-- Since his 2008 departure from World Wrestling Entertainment, Gene Snisky (a/k/a Snitsky) has crossed over to the acting world. He recently shot the role of "Satan" in the independent film Morning Star. He is also seeking voiceover work.

Bret Hart Wins U.S. Title, Virgil Returns To WWE
Virgil made his return to WWE on this week's RAW, accompanying Ted DiBiase to the ring. Virgil will be at Over the Limit this Sunday in DiBiase's corner in the match against R-Truth.
-- Bret Hart is the new WWE United States Champion after defeating The Miz on this week's RAW in a no DQ, no count out match. While Bret obviously won't be an active champion, it remains to be seen what happens to the title now. I warned you guys last week that it wouldn't shock me to see him capture the title. It seemed pretty obvious that he was winning.

Tons Of News: Danielson
WWE.com has an article up talking to and about the eliminated NXT rookies. Most of the story focuses on Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson, including this statement: "But Bryan Danielson is a former world Champion. Bryan Danielson is champion wherever he's ever been. Bryan Danielson is one of the best wrestlers in the world. And he doesn't just say that himself, people say that about him. The real me is Bryan Danielson. I was trying to fit into what they want me to be but that's not me. Bryan Danielson is the real me."

Lashley was kept off two recent Strikeforce cards due to scheduling issues, and said recently that he'd fight every month if he could. "I'm playing the catch-up game," he said. As always, have a great weekend! We've got big boxing and Strikerforce events on Saturday and then the TNA Sacrifice PPV on Sunday night. We'll be busy this weekend and we hope you check back in often. Thanks for your continued support of the website as always :)!! Be good.
-- There is zero interest right now from within TNA regarding Shelly Martinez coming back. As noted earlier here on the website, a fan campaign was recently started online that Shelly supported trying to get her back with the company. After not hearing back from Terry Taylor, TNA's Director of Talent Relations, she noted Tuesday on her Twitter account that she wrote to him to ask him about her status. She received her answer, writing the following: "So Terry Taylor said there is no opportunity at TNA for me :("
-- As of last word, Kurt Angle was scheduled to return to action at next week's TNA iMPACT tapings that will air on May 20th. As always, things can change.
-- Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are your new TNA Tag Team Champions after Nash cashed in his Feast or Fired briefcase on this week's TNA iMPACT. Nash came out and pinned a downed Matt Morgan after Samoa Joe came out and beat Morgan up in an un-related attack.

A Major SD! Error & Storyline **SPOILER**, Vader Update, Y2J
As noted earlier, WWE's production crew made a big technical error before the SmackDown! tapings this past Tuesday night in Buffalo at the HSBC Arena. While fans were waiting to get in the arena, a TV with no audio in the front lobby was on and it was showing the WWE crew rehearsing for the show. Fans saw Teddy Long & Kofi Kingston rehearsing their segment, the Divas rehearsing their match and Jack Swagger practicing for his segment. The WWE stars prepared for the show until the doors opened for fans to come into the arena.
-- As far as her Women's Title is concerned, an angle will occur on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown! involving the belt. In light of the injury, there is talk of splitting up Laycool — Michelle McCool and Layla — and having them feud with each other. It's also been said that Melina may return to SmackDown! once she's cleared to wrestle, which is expected to take place in June.
-- The Oklahoma Daily ran an article this week on the son of former World Champion Vader, Jesse White, who also played football at the University of Oklahoma. The article talked about how Jesse is training for a career in pro wrestling and included comments from Vader and Jim Ross. Jesse is training for wrestling two days a week now and is working for Midsouth Pro Wrestling in Oklahoma. It was noted that Vader is still planning shows in Japan and North America through his company, Vader Time Promotions and will be holding a week-long wrestling camp later this year at the Paradise City Night Club in Oklahoma City. Vader says he will be trying to help Jesse live his dream and get a contract with WWE. Vader said: “The main thing to me is he approaches the opportunities correctly. He has to leave the arrogance behind. You have to stay humble, and bring God with you on the road. That’s something I didn’t do for a long time.”
